Being a mother is what led Kelly Crawford to finding her passion in maternal/child health. Kelly is a maternal/child Registered nurse and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has completed over 1000 clinical hours as well as 95 continuing education hours in lactation education.

Kelly strongly believes that breastfeeding success is much more attainable with knowledge and support. She has created a private lactation practice called Long Island Latch to support families all around the area. Her services include but are not limited to:

Prenatal consults discussing breastfeeding 101, how to be successful, discussion of potential challenges & an individualized assessment as it pertains to lactation.

Postpartum consults including intake of medical history as it pertains to lactation, intake of subjective information to identify needs, assessment of the mother/baby dyad, full written care plan, provider reports, weighted feeds & ongoing secure support for 1 week.

60-90 minute consults can be done in the office, at your home or telehealth.

Kelly also is working through the Lactation Network and does accept some insurance policies. She is empathetic and dedicated in supporting families achieve their goals.
